Corgi Obedience Training Tips

Corgi dog obedience can change your dog in many ways. From a corgi that won’t do anything he is told, to a dog that pays attention to what you say. From a corgi that is annoying and hyper, to a peaceful and clam dog. Training can be the greatest thing for your corgi, as long as he obeys you.

Once the dog knows his name, you can start training him with the basic commands like, sit, lay, or come. You can start training your corgi in your house to help your
dog pay attention to you so you can train the corgi better.

The last thing is, that you should train the dog yourself. Training your corgi yourself will make your commands more effective. If someone else was to train your dog for you, the corgi would most likely to obey the person who trained him the command. Corgi dog obedience is a great way to bond with your dog and fix bad behavior.

  1. Tom says:

If you can teach me to keep my corgi from working himself into a froth-mouthed ball of screaming fury every time I turn my vacuum cleaner on, I will revere you as a god.

  2. Absolutely makes sense. Especially the part about training your dog yourself. Super important. So many people make that mistake and wonder why their dog is uncontrollable.

  3. I agree that the dog owner must be the one who will train his dog. Asside from making commands more effective, it will be a bonding moment for you and your dog. Thanks for the tips. I think your tips are also applicable to other dog breeds as well.
